2 Timothy 1:7
What are you afraid of?
God’s love for us is sure. His love is infallible and it is unconditional. He loves us so much that we should not fear anything. However, human nature allows us to feel otherwise. Everyday we grapple with our personal fear(s). Fear of failure, fear of success, fear of not meeting “the one” all types of fears. But God’s word says fear not for I am with you [Is. 41:10]. When he says this he is telling us no matter what the world or our adversary tries to embed in our minds he is right there, he is not going anywhere and there is no need to be afraid. He further reminds us he has given us the power to conquer any fear, any stronghold or any one thing that may be holding us back from receiving what He has for us.
He is God and He loves us with an undying love. In His love for us we should find strength, power, safety and confidence. So I will ask you, “what are you afraid of?”
Assess your fears and take them to God. Write them down and search the scriptures as it pertains to each one. Trust His plan and time table for your life and move according to His word. It is not His plan nor His desire for you to feel hopeless and crippled by fear.
