1 Timothy 6:6
You may be thinking time is running out for you to be married, or perhaps all of your friends are married and you’re in your 20s, 30s, or 40s and you have yet to find a man who suits what your desires are. Perhaps at times you feel sorry for yourself, and maybe you’ve even been losing faith in the promises that God has made to you concerning marriage.
It’s okay that you feel that way sometimes, but you shouldn’t dwell on it.
The fact that you are single changes nothing. What matters is what you are using this phase of your life to do. Your life is in seasons; don’t ruin your today because of what you desire tomorrow. This phase will surely pass and it will be a part of your testimony.
Be content where you are. Celebrate your singleness. Wake up every morning being grateful for the things you are able to do as a single woman: pursuing your purpose, contributing to your local church, being a cheerful blessing to people around you. There are lots of beautiful things you can do while being single, but first you have to be happy and content being single.
God is mindful of you. Why wouldn’t He be? You are His daughter, the apple of His eye. Your life is to glorify Him, and so is your single phase, but you have to trust in His perfect timing for you. Enjoy your single days my dear friend!
Your sister in Christ,
