Do you ever feel like it shouldn’t be so hard to know God’s specific call on your life? Maybe you’re confused because you’re about to graduate high school and you don’t even know what school you should go to! Maybe you’re in your second year of college and have no idea what major you should choose.
First of all, God is not the author of confusion. He never desires for us to be confused about where He has us. However, sometimes He needs for us to trust that even when we feel like we’re floating in an ocean, He’s the one keeping us afloat and guiding us.
Second, by steadily being in His word and praying, He will bring clarity and peace over the decisions that you make. Ask the Holy Spirit to overwhelm you with peace and that He would shut the doors that need to be shut and open the doors that need to be open! There will be times that you may feel like you’re fighting a battle that can’t be won, but remember that the Lord is with you and He will help you! When having a relationship with Him is the primary desire you chase, then the rest will come!
Come under the wings of the Almighty and allow Him to be your refuge and fortress – the one Whom you run to first. Trust that He has the best plans for you even when you can’t see them immediately.
