A lot of times the hardest thing to do as a single adult is having to explain to people that being single is your choice. When you are waiting for God’s timing all that matters is keeping your eyes on him.
You need to remember that God does not look at you any differently if you are single or married. Life as a single Christian can actually be more beneficial as you can focus this time of singleness on growing closer to Christ.
The bible tells us that both marriage and singleness are gifts that God gives to us. Your life should not be about pursuing marriage; it should be about pursuing Christ. God can use this time in singleness to glorify him.
The most important thing to remember is that if we are not content being single then we will never be content being married. Your content-ness should be found in Christ and the life he has given you. So use this time of singleness to focus on Christ and grow closer to him. The Lord loves you regardless of your relationship status. Keep your eyes on him and wait for His precious timing.
