Have you encountered someone who was just so positive about life? Perhaps it seemed like no matter how difficult their circumstance was, they continued to smile and rejoice and give God the glory. It’s touching to meet people like that, and it can even lead us to reevaluate the way we see our own lives.
As a follower of Christ, you can be one of those kinds of people, too. You might be faced with the biggest, steepest uphill battle of your life right now, but if you are, don’t let it stop you from having a joyful heart. The enemy wants to you be distracted and completely crushed to the point that you’re no longer trusting God, even though you know that God has always provided for you. Don’t ever allow yourself to get to that place!
Continue to have a joyful heart, even when you’re praying and seeking God for clarity and answers. The reason why is because when you know that God is going to take care of you, you have no reason to not have joy! Furthermore, your joy will inspire others, in the same way that others have inspired you.
Maybe the fact that you’re currently single has been weighing heavy on your heart, or someone in your family is ill and the doctors can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong. You might feel alone, but you’re not the only one going through that. There’s someone else out there–maybe even a co worker or a roommate who just needs to be reminded that despite what they’re faced with, they can continue to have the joy of the Lord. Be the kind of woman who lets the joy of the Lord influence every part of her day and every part of her heart, and let it be the kind of joy that opens the eyes and inspires those around her.
