At times, life seems super unfair. You devise a plan in your mind regarding many things – a dream career path, relationship and the way you’d like your life to unfold. Then reality sets in and you realize the position you are in seems afar off from what you envisioned and stress tension is created. For one of you, this stress factor could be on your job where your manager rubs you the wrong way or employees just don’t understand your position as a Christian!
Feelings of frustration flood your mind and you may often ask yourself – “how can I function here?” Here’s an encouraging reminder for you to dig your roots deeper anf grow where you are planted. It doesn’t mean that you are less of person because you choose to prayerfully endure your process – but hanging in there until God says “okay time to move” shows that you trust God even though you can’t trace the process.
Growing where you are planted means that you trust God to equip you with strategy to combat the forces of negativity in your surroundings.
It means that though you have many plans in your heart you KNOW that God’s plan for your life is greater. Sister, it seems easier to run awat from the problem but the very thing you are shying from could be EXACTLY what you need to catapult you into the next dimension of your journey.
Today, find rest in knowing that stress from an outside source does not define you, the many plans you have are great but the Lord’s plan for your life is greater! Submit your desires to His hand and watch God work everything together for your good and His glory!
